Danny Silk : Intergalactic Exterminator
February 27, 2008
Well it’s been a year and a half since my last animation ‘Infestation of the Nutty Joes’ .. but my second is finally finished and HERE ! Danny Silk : Intergalactic Exterminator - Hired by the Intergalactic Planet Corporation, Danny Silk’s job is to wipe clean all alien Planets for human re-habitation. Unfortunately Danny has a strong romantic side, and just can’t turn down an attractive alien life form.. no matter what the consequences. This short has had to overcome a lot of hurdles to be made. Moving home, changing jobs and computers braking down … it’s been a struggle at times, but we’ve learnt a lot and I am immensely pleased with the final outcome. Watch below.. Better get started on my next then.

Sensations Of The Seasons : Animators Diary 2
February 22, 2008

I’m still at the set building stage, but things are coming along nicely. Here are some picky wicks I’ve been taking as I work to give you an idea on how it’s all coming together.

I seem to be having a little problem with bubbles appearing as I apply the wall paper … this is mostly noticeable on the stage. So I’ve decided to use thin painted wooden strips to create the stage, which I feel will look more interesting - especially since the stage is the main focal point for this short.

I’ve just watched the Public Choice selection at Portsmouth University .. and know who I’m rooting for. So if your interested in seeing a free showcase of the best of British animation, then I highly recommend you find out when a three day showing is near to you and run along to vote … run, run, run. The Melvins Studio Report & Pics
February 19, 2008

This is from the Big Business (MySpace) Blog….12 feb 2008 Big Biz Business 2008, part 1, scene 1, act 4, paragraph 2. Categorie: Dreams and the Supernatural I know it’s late, but it’s high time we get everyone on the same page for the upcoming year in Big Business. Right now I am sitting in a recording studio in Hollywood as Jared is doubling his bass parts on a new Melvins record. Check out the photos in our photos. It has a name, and we’ll be spilling the beans on that one shortly. Everything seems to be going as planned, so expect some freaky deep cuts on this one. Toshi Kasai is at the control thing, doing stuff you and I probably will never understand. Dale is starting a fire outside, signaling the first bbq of the year is about to be underway. Once this is wrapped up, The Biz will be finishing up our latest batch of songs and hopefully recording this spring. Our touring schedule for the year is still being figured out, but we know this: the Melvins and Big Business are touring Europe in the fall. We’ll post more info as it comes in. We have high hopes that some special plans we’ve been planning for years will come to fruition in 2008. Come fly with us. We love you so much right now.coady Cant wait!

Speechless Short Films
February 14, 2008Here are a few of many short films made by Director George Hickenlooper as a comment on the recent writers strike in Hollywood. Apparently he was inundated by actors wanting to take part … so it snow balled into over 30 shorts.
