


I’m still at the set building stage, but things are coming along nicely. Here are some picky wicks I’ve been taking as I work to give you an idea on how it’s all coming together. 


I seem to be having a little problem with bubbles appearing as I apply the wall paper … this is mostly noticeable on the stage. So I’ve decided to use thin painted wooden strips to create the stage, which I feel will look more interesting - especially since the stage is the main focal point for this short.

As described on the BAA website - The British Animation Awards (BAA) covers all aspects of the UK animation scene, from student work to commercials, children’s entertainment, short and experimental art films, music videos, new technologies. BAA is held every two years; and the Awards Night is March 13th 2008. The Public Choice (as part of BAA) gives you the chance to vote for 3 BAA winners. A selection of short animation films are showing at 28 venues across England giving you the chance to see some smashing animation spread over three days. Find out more HERE. I’ve just watched the Public Choice selection at Portsmouth University .. and know who I’m rooting for. So if your interested in seeing a free showcase of the best of British animation, then I highly recommend you find out when a three day showing is near to you and run along to vote … run, run, run.
