This is probably the closest we’re going to get to anything resembling a new Evil Dead movie.. So embrace and enjoy.

Below is a collection of my favorites..
Hooooray for animators diary numero eight. The set is now very much ready – except for the odd tweaking here and there. When I say ready, I mean ready for the Unzi parts and maybe even a freak or two. The audience parts I’ll film last and probably build a hole new section of set for.
So what have I been doing? Well…. I formed the theatre box using baked fimo for the edging, then stuck it together with the painted washing up bottle cut off.
Then I glued it in place over the ready made hole on the set. Behind I stuck some cardboard and unused wallpaper completing the theatre box …. and ready for the guests of honor.
I’ve also been attaching these smart looking candle lights to give a little atmos’. They will have flames digitally added on the finished footage.
The stage has now been boxed off behind and painted black. I’ll probably insert a black curtain to reduce any light glare.
So as I said.. it’s all very much ready for the Unzi animation parts. Just got to do some lighting tests, then we’re away x
