Ponyo On A Cliff By The Sea Trailer

June 30, 2008

Hayao Miyazake’s new animation filum (following other clasics such as Spirited Away and Howl’s Moving Castle) is called Ponyo on a cliff by the sea.. and heres the trailer featured on some japan television prog’. You have to try and block out all the yabbering over the top of it and focus on the actual animation to get an idea of how beautifully brilliant this may be.

It follows a five-year old boy and his relationship with a girl-princess fish who longs to become human.

Released in Japan in July 2008 … so hopefully we don’t have to wait too long to get it over here.
