I am loving the new Postman Pat advert for Spec-savers. If you haven’t seen it yet .. here it is….
There is also a fascinating making of too …..
I grew up on Postman Pat. It was one of my first introductions to animation as a child and what probably got me hooked on doing it myself. So was delighted to see this advert and am very envious of the people who got to work on it.
The 2009 Coney Island Film Festival will feature my latest animation ‘Sensations of the Season’.
This is really exciting as the theme of this animation is based around a freak show … so to be shown at Coney Island (which is the last place in the USA where you can experience the thrill of a traditional ten-in-one circus sideshow) makes it a real hoot.
If you don’t already know .. ‘Sensations of the Season’ is an animated accompliment I made for the bizarre music of Onethirtyeight.
As you can see there is a new heading for this blog featuring two new characters. They are called Witch and Witchy and feature in my future animation series ‘Creepy Treats’.
Here is another of Witchy…
You can follow my animators diary to find out more HERE.
Good news everyone … my latest animation ‘Sensations of the Season’ will have it’s first showing at The Kings TheatreAlbert Road Southsea PO5 2QJ.

Sensations of the Season mixes my animation with the music of Onethirtyeight … creating one of the freakiest freak shows you’ve ever seen.
